Chennai, Sept 17: A delegation of journalists from Jammu and Kashmir, on a PIB Srinagar-organised study tour of Tamil Nadu, interacted with Dr. L. Murugan, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, at Doordarshan Chennai.
The interaction was held during a programme organised at the Doordarshan premises to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
Dr. Murugan interacted with the journalists on media-related issues and briefed them about developments in the information and broadcasting sector. The delegation also shared perspectives on the evolving media landscape in Jammu and Kashmir.
The journalists said the study tour is providing them first-hand exposure to various institutions, developmental projects, infrastructure, industry, culture and broadcasting facilities in Tamil Nadu.
