New Delhi : Three Congress leaders were ordered today to delete, within 24 hours, their tweets on allegations against the BJP’s Smriti Irani and her daughter in connection with a restaurant in Goa. The Delhi High Court also summoned the leaders over their allegations against the Union Minister.
Jairam Ramesh, Pawan Khera and Netta D’souza have been asked to delete their tweets and appear before the court on August 18 in a defamation case filed by Smriti Irani.
The High Court said if the Congress leaders failed to do so, the tweets would have to be removed by the social media company, or Twitter in this case.
