In such cases, customers are forced to wait for several hours, and sometimes even days, to get their money refunded. This situation is particularly difficult for people who depend on ATM services for their daily needs and have no other immediate source of cash.
The problem becomes even more severe during periods of limited cash availability. When customers urgently need money and ATMs fail to function properly, it leads to financial hardship and loss of trust in banking services.
