Srinagar, July 21 : Jammu-Srinagar highway shall remain closed for traffic on Friday, officials.
The thoroughfare was blocked by shooting stones, landslides in Ramban district, especially at Mehad area since Wednesday night.
“Tomorrow (July 22) no vehicular movement shall be allowed from either side on Jammu-Srinagar highway in view of road blockage at Mehad, Ramban due to intermittent shooting stones,” a traffic department official said in a statement to GNS.
However he said public will be informed through “social media” in case the road opens.” (GNS)
