Srinagar 10 June: As the curtains came down on the historic Zojila Tunnel breakthrough ceremony and all related coverage, Daily Roshni and its team extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Srinagar and the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) for organizing an exceptionally memorable and well-coordinated media visit.
We are particularly grateful to Director PIB Srinagar, Mr. Qazi Salman, whose leadership and guidance ensured the successful conduct of the programme and the smooth coordination of the media visit.
The hospitality extended throughout the tour was truly commendable. The stay at Four Points by Sheraton, Sonamarg, was a delightful experience. From breakfast to lunch and dinner, every arrangement made by PIB was impeccable and reflected the warmth and professionalism with which the entire programme was organized.
The transportation facilities provided for media personnel were highly comfortable, while the drivers were courteous, cooperative and media-friendly, making the journey pleasant and hassle-free. Refreshments arranged by PIB from time to time during the travel further added to the comfort of the media delegation.
A special note of appreciation goes to Mr. Majid Pandit Sahib, whose tireless efforts, dedication and round-the-clock coordination contributed immensely to the success of the event. His commitment and willingness to assist everyone ensured that the programme proceeded smoothly from beginning to end.
We are also thankful to PIB Srinagar and NHIDCL for providing media representatives with the rare opportunity to travel through the Zojila Tunnel route while returning to Srinagar after the breakthrough ceremony. Witnessing this engineering marvel firsthand made the experience even more special and memorable.
As a thoughtful gesture, members of the media fraternity were presented with dry fruits and saffron by PIB and NHIDCL at the conclusion of the programme, a token of appreciation that was warmly received and appreciated by all.
