Srinagar 24 Jan 2025: National Girl Child Day, launched in 2008, aims to address various social issues affecting girls in India. These issues, ranging from infant mortality to child marriage, have been challenging to tackle. However, this day serves as a reminder that these problems must be confronted and resolved.
The day was celebrated today at Vishal Mega Mart in Hyderpora, where girls were gifted customized mugs, cards, and chocolates. The event was organized by the Times of India and supported by Spectrum Advertising Services, Cemtac Cements, and Kashmir Eye Hospital.
