Srinagar, Aug 29: Bureau chief of India Today group for J&K Ashraf Wani has bagged the prestigious 2 ENBA awards for his world Exclusive Television Coverage of Afghanistan in 2022. On Sunday, the prestigious ENBA (Exchange 4 Media News Broadcasting Award) was announced for the year 2022 in different categories of news television.
The coverage of Afghanistan by Wani bagged two awards – Gold for the best international news coverage of the year 2022 (Afghanistan Under Taliban) and the Best Travelogue News Report (of the Panjsher Valley in Afghanistan).
It was the 15th edition of the ENBA awards in India where national news TV channels, regional news channels, and digital platforms of media telecasted programs are awarded by a jury of eight members from journalist faculties every year in different categories.
The India Today group bagged 111 awards in different categories and tops the list this year.
